- MRS. ANNIE KLINE FRAME
After a lingering and painful illness, death removed Mrs. Annie Kline Frame, beloved wife of Mr. W.E. Frame, public schools inspector of the Drumheller Inspectorate, Tuesday morning. For several years she had been a patient sufferer and had submitted to three surgical operations in an endeavor to remove the malady and restore health. The past few weeks had been particularly anxious ones with her devoted husband almost constantly at her side, as well as other members of her family. The late Mrs. Frame was born at Halifax, Nova Scotia, forty-one years ago, of English parentage. She was well known in Calgary, where Mr. Frame, before becoming an inspector, was a teacher on the staff of the Crescent Heights High School under Mr. William Aberhart, Alberta's social credit premier. When Mr. Frame was appointed inspector, the family moved to Coronation and at the formation of the Drumheller Inspectorate, fourteen months ago, he was transferred to this point. During their brief residence here, Mr. and Mrs. Frame had won the admiration of a large circle of friends whose sympathy goes out to those bereaved. Besides her husband, there are surviving one daughter, Betty Patricia; mother and father (Mr. and Mrs. G.J. Kemm, of Calgary); two sisters -- Mrs. G.H. Payson, Glendale, California, and Mrs. C.W. Wood, Calgary; two brothers -- Mr. G.W. Kemm, Seattle, and Mr. H.R. Kemm, Calgary. The remains will be forwarded to Calgary, Friday morning, where the funeral will be conducted from the Jacques Funeral Home, and interment will be made in the Union cemetery. A funeral service was held this afternoon at Knox United church, with the Rev. I.N. Hughson, of Munson, officiating. A large number of friends attended the service and many floral tributes were banked upon and around the casket. Two favorite hymns of the late Mrs. Frame were sung, "Lead Kindly Light," and "There were Ninety and Nine that Safely Lay in the Shelter of the Fold," while Mr. Hughson delivered a message of comfort centered on the passage, "Let not your heart be troubled, for in My Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so I would have told you; I go to prepare a place for you." Mr. W.W. Gillender officiated at the organ console and played the "Dead March in Saul" at the conclusion of the service. Pallbearers were: Messrs. J.G. Harrison, T.M. McGarry, F.B. King, A.W. Simpson, F.W. Wootton and J.A. Constantine. The Canadian Legion, of which Mr. Frame is a member, were represented by the attendance of several ex-service men. The remains of Mrs. Frame will repose at Winter Bros.' Funeral Home this evening.
