  Notes	Parker Family History records: There is a discrepency in the name of John Philpot Curran's mother appearing in two different biographies, which also has two different versions on here tombstone inscription: From "Curran and his Contemporaries" by Charles Phillips, published by Harper & Brothers, New York, 1877, page 14: "Here lies all that was mortal of Martha Curran, a woman of many virtues, few foibles, great talents, and no vice. This tablet was inscribed to her memory by a son who loved her and whom she loved." From "The Speeches of the Right Honourable John Philpot Curran" by Thomas Davis, third edition, published in the 19th century (no date) by James Duffy, Dublin, on page xii of introductory memoirs: "Here lies the body of Sarah Curran; she was marked by manby years, many talents, many virtues, few failings, no crime. This frail memorial was placed here by a son whom she loved."
