  Notes	1881 British Census records him living with parrents at: B 13 Paxton Road, Birmingham, Warwick, England Immigrated to Canada from Birmingham, England in 1894. 1901 Census records year of birth as 1874. 1901 Census - Occupation listed as Book Keeper age 27, living in Halifax with his Mother, Step Father, brother Rupert, Leslie, sister Ethal, step sister Mable, and Aunt Elizabeth By 1908 the family had moved to Winnepeg, Manitoba where Miriam and Edgar Rex were born. 1911 Census records his sons Lawley and Gilbert living with his mother Mabel (Parker) and Leighill Norris at 399 Brunswick St. Halifax, an 8 room home on Apr 10, 1911. 1911 His daughter Miriam died in Oct 1909, then wife Martha died in Jan 1910, then son Edgar Rex in Apr 1910. Edgar Percy must have asked his mother Mabel to look after the two boys Lawley and Gilbert since they are listed in the 1911 Cape Breton South Census of NovaScotia as living with Mabel, her new husband Leighill Norris, and Edgar's Aunt Elizabeth. 1915 World War 1 Attestation Paper records Edgar signing up March 25th, 1915. His papers indicate that he reported his birth as 1878. In Mar 1915, Edgar would have been either 42, or 40 depending on which dob we use. He reported being only 36.
