- BIOGRAPHY: Richard de Vere, 11th Earl of Oxford, KG (1416); born probably 1385; commanded troops in the Agincourt campaign 1415 and its follow-up 1416; married 1st by 1400 (dsp young), very probably daughter of John de Holand, 1st Duke of Exeter, by Elizabeth (sister of Henry IV); married 2nd 1406/7 Alice (married 3rd Nicholas Thorley), widow of Guy de St Aubyn and daughter of Sir Richard Sergeaux, of Cornwall, by Philippa, daughter of Sir Edmund de Arundel (bastardized son of 11th/14th Earl of Arundel), and died 15 Feb 1416/7.
