MRS. HERB. L. McILMOYLE Mrs. Herbert L. McIlmoyle 74,of Selwyn,died Saturday following a lengthy illness. She was born in England,the former Margaret Annie Adelaide (Daisy) Butler,daughter of the late Joseph Butler and Mary Agnes Russell. She came to Canada at the age of 11 and completed her education in Smith Township. Later she moved to Lakefield and then to Selkirk,Manitoba,where she lived for 17 years. She came to Selwyn from Selkirk and has lived there for 40 years. Mrs. McIlmoyle was a member of Selwyn Uni- ted Church and a life member of the Women’s Association of that church. Her husband,Her- bert L. McIlmoyle,predeceased her. She leaves three sons,George and Max at home,and Herbert of Smith Township; six dau- ghters,Mrs. William Bell (Daisy) of Otanabee, Mrs. Beryl Clysdale (Audrey) of Peterborough, Mrs. Wellie Northey (Ethel),and Mrs. Garnet Northey (Ivy) of Smith Township,Mrs. Douglas Davis (Grace) of Lakefield,,and Mrs. Rolland Scott (Vera) of Lindsay Highway; two sisters Mrs. Geo. Parsons of Hall’s Glen,and Mrs. Ethel Gunn of Toronto; three brothers Ernest Butler of Hall’s Glen,Bert Butler of Peterborough,and William Butler of Selkirk,Manitoba,16 grand- children and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home,Lakefield. The Rev. D.P. Morris of Selwyn United Church will conduct the services. Burial will be in Ray’s Cemetery,Lakefield.
