  Gertrude Jane Carl - 1956 Gertie in 1956 in her wall-papered living room. Apparently, she liked wallpaper so much that she changed it often; BUT she never removed the old stuff before putting up a new design. So it is said that the corners in her living room were rounded and that you could stick a 4 inch needle into the corner and never reach the wall.
