Jacquie Poole passed away in Pointe-Claire on May 14, 2017 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Henry A. (Harry) Poole, she had a long career at The Bay before becoming a dance professional. Jacquie leaves to mourn her children Gerry (Lynn), Lawrence (Suzy), Jocelyne (Jim), and David (Lucy), her grandchildren Claudine, Natalie, Mark, Shawn, Nadine, Greg, Caroline, Alexander and Jonathan, her great grandchildren Kimberlee, Cameron, Ryan, Karina and Gabriella. Predeceased by her granddaughter Danielle, she also leaves in mourning her great-niece Catherine (Thierry) of Calais, and many friends. Jacquie and Harry are now reunited and dancing again.
A gathering to celebrate her life will take place Friday May 19 from 2-5 p.m, at La Maison Verte, 16981 boul. Gouin Ouest, Ste-Geneviève, H9H 1E6. A ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff at Chateau Pierrefonds for their loving personal care.
