Sarah Curran

Sarah Curran, youngest daughter of John Philpot Curran, was born in Newmarket in 1792.
The romantic story of her Betrothal to the United Irish Leader, Robert Emmet, Hanged in Dublin in 1803, is immortalised in song and story.
She died, 6th May, 1808, and is buried in the family vault in this Cemetery. Priory, Rathfarnham, England
